The Vacuum Record Lifter
Here is a device which I have not seen in any reference book on gramophone accessories. A good example of something which did what few people wanted done, it claimed to be the first of it's kind on the market, and it was probably the last. Has anyone seen, or better still, got one?

The Lincoln Record Changer used vacuum to operate and also hold the record in place:

This record lifter apparently evolved into the first toilet plunger using the left over stock from the factory...
