Re: Newest Sign....
That is the sign that hung from the bottom of the two sided Victor Caruso Aida record metal sign. Nice find. They are nearly always missing.

Is it just me or does anyone else think this guy is having some amazing finds? Congrats on the find.

Re: Newest Sign....
Exactly. It was held by chains from the bottom grommets of a 20 in record sign like this one.
I might have to sell you the record sign to go with it!

It's made of porcelain, same as your sign... It's a rare sign to find and you have the bottom part, which would complete it...LShaped wrote:woaoaoaoaaoao....what is that record made of? having a hard time picturing how it hung... im your guy if ya sell...ill bring the old sign back to lifefonograph wrote:Exactly. Bob is almost as lucky as you... that's the second one he's had... Mike Lund has the first one.

Re: Newest Sign....
The price was pretty good. I think you did well. The sign is two sided enameled metal. It was normally hung up on a hanging bracket outside so they are often quite rusted and rugged. Here is mine. My bottom sign is is in better shape than my record sign. I would like to upgrade, but haven't had the chance yet.
