That "J" tube looks like it's installed backwards...

This cabinet design is based on a Georgian wine cooler in the Sheraton style. It first appeared c.1922 as the Tyrela gramophone, and was copied by several other makers including Academy.
The large circular lid often cracks in old age, but the example pictured looks to be in excellent condition and must be rare in the USA. Current bid $232.50 and well worth it.
