I never really understood the fascination with them until I found one. Hey, they're unique! A Victor floor model phonograph with an outside oak horn that sounds great and looks pretty unusual. I love mine. I was lucky to find one locally and (at the time) much cheaper than they used to sell for. $2000 for one seems incredibly reasonable, considering they used to bring $4000 easily when the market was better.Retrograde wrote:Odd. For what it's worth, I don't care much for the school house models and never understood the fascination with them that other collectors have.
