Victor II Playing an Uncle Josh Record, with Talking Hamster

Post by MikeB »

What's worse than an Uncle Josh record? Yes, you guessed it. Uncle Josh accompanied by a talking hamster toy.

I bought this Toy From Hell to drive my brother crazy, only to find it in my bed a while later. So naturally the thing got sucked in by my Uncle Josh records, because, well, why wouldn't it?

Unpopular opinion: I kinda like Uncle Josh records and actively collect them. While they’re not the most humorous sketches, it’s just interesting how people reacted to things we now take for granted when they were relatively new.
(Even though in an exaggerated for comedy kinda way) Oh if Cal Stewart lived long enough to do Electric recording. Same with Ada Jones and Caruso.

Uncle Josh on an Automobile is my favorite. I have had that record over 30 years.
