I rebuilt the reproducer (model H) and it runs good! Serial number is: 630974. It’s missing 3 bedplate screws
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves
Edit: yes I do have the lid

I recently sold an Edison Standard and it has proved to be a difficult transaction. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipping. I took full responsibility and made a full refund to the buyer who agreed to send all of it back. I paid the full amount to return it to me. When it came the 2/4 minute gear cover was not included as well as half of the top board.I asked for pictures of the broken machine after the buyer said it arrived broken. After looking at the pictures (see picture), I noticed that the gear cover and the board were still on the machine when it arrived; meaning the buyer would have had to purposely remove the gear cover and board before sending it back to me. I messaged the buyer but have been totally ignored for over a week.
I am angry and frustrated because the machine is now incomplete.
I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
David

Notice the gear cover AND board are still on the machine
By the looks of the damage, it is obvious that it was not packed well. As collectors, we should all know how to pack machines, knowing that carriers treat them like basketballs. If you had double boxed this machine with plenty of packing as it should have been, it would have survived the trip. The majority of any blame goes to the seller. Do it right the first time and be done with it. I always ship machines to preserve history as dollars can be replaced.
David,
I responded to you last week about this machine and said that I would take care of it. First off if you remember me telling you that unlike yourself being a college student, I’m an essential worker during this pandemic working 12 -14 hours a day trying to make people like you safe. You didn’t mention the fact that I hounded you for over a month (30 days!)for a refund for the damages to your very poor packing skills of just sitting it in a box with some bubble wrap on top. Further more, why haven’t you called me? I don’t always have the time to check my text messages. I’ll see if I can get my 88 year old mother to get this to you while I’m out here trying to do my job to benefit everyone else. If you have a problem, be a man and call me...
