DESPERATE for a parts Edison reproducer (Edison standard)

Post by PeanutTheRabbit »

I reallllly need an Edison reproducer for my newly acquired standard phonograph. I don’t intend to play it, so it’s just needed to display a horn...which I also need. If y’all have anything you wouldn’t mind getting rid of on the cheap let me know.

Why wouldn't you intend to play it? Edisons work pretty great when they are all sorted.

Does this Standard have the gears for 2 and 4 minute, or is it 2 minute only?

I can’t currently afford anything super expensive, so I just wish to display my Edison standard. I’m currently in the process of having my vv-iv restored. If I had more money I’d be going ham on edison cylinders and parts :3 but for now imma just wait and keep it on the shelf, lookin all pretty with a gorgeous horn.

You can get/find recorders that don’t work even cheaper than reproducers that will “look” the part.

I have alot of recorder tops. I put them on my machines sold in antique malls. And store will put the appropriate reproducer on it after it is purchased. This keeps people from stealing my reproducers. You can have one for the mailing cost. Tim
