FS: Brunswick 2 spring motor, works great!

Post by SignatureSeriesOwner »

Hey all, I'm offering a Brunswick 2 spring motor, that works fine. The springs are not broken, and do not "thump and bump" however, the governor needs to be repaired/replaced. The three weights, as well as the steel "bell" that would restrict the speed exploded in my face around a month ago. The motor still works fine, just the speed can no longer be regulated (until you add a new "brake disc" or some other means of regulating the brake pressure on the motor to the governor shaft.

What you see is what you get, sans the winding key.

I'd like $25+actual Parcel Post shipping. I can remove the black "plate" if you don't want/need it, to save on weight. Just specify when you PM me. I will also include the speed control assembly as well (so long as I can find it.)

Thank you.

That motor should be charged with attempted murder! hehe. But seriously I am
glad you did not get injured during the incident. :)

You aren't lying. That was quite a shock.

Nobody needs a Brunswick motor with 2 good springs?

How about $20 then, plus actual shipping? It's not going any lower than that fellas :)

I saw your other thread about your Brunswick floor model restoration project. If you just need parts, you may contact Great Lakes Phonograph or Wyatt's Musical. There are so many Brunswick phonographs around and it's not hard to find parts. BTW, eBay also always has several listings of Brunswick parts.

Hi, do you still have the motor? I will take it if you do.
