Amberola 75 question

Post by Fish »

Hi Everyone. I’m finally working on the Amberola 75 I bought In 2019. Someone had taken it apart and I have all parts except what appears to have been a bracket at the bottom front of the horn. Every example I’ve seen online has a pin through the horn where mine has a pin mounted to the horn that sticks forward. You can see 2 holes where it appears a bracket was mounted and I’ll bet that pin was under the bracket. I’m guessing Edison changed that mounting at some point?

Does anyone have a pic of that bracket so I can try to make one? Thanks!

The bracket was most likely the same as that on the Amberola 30 and 50: there is a thread on the 30 that shows two styles of brackets.

It's the 2nd Early type bottom bracket. The Amberola 75's bracket may be taller than the Amberola 30. An Amberola 50 Early bracket is most likely the same and is your best bet... Check ebay..
