If you look at the second picture, the carriage wont sit down properly. Do I need to bend something?

Congratulations, it looks splendid!
What a joy to rescue these marvels from oblivion... And gosh! They were made to last hundreds of years, if properly cared for!

EDIT: also what's up with my pictures? They are all the correct orientation on my phone (which is how I post them), but when I open my laptop they are all goin different directions

Don't post them from your phone... save them to your laptop and then post them. If they are HEIC images, convert them to .jpg or .png images first and make sure they open in the correct orientation on your computer.

Also, one tip on matching grain on veneer patches - use a black Sharpie marker instead of stain to duplicate the dark lines in the grain pattern (it stays better than dark stain). Then wipe it off to soften it and use the tip of an awl or something sharp to replicate the grain "lines/indentions" across the area where the new patch meets the original veneer. Hope that makes sense... practice on something unimportant before doing this...

Your Amberola turned out fantastic...
