WANTED: Credenza grill (not an 8-30) and motorboard with spr

Post by SittingRabbit »

Me again,

An 8-30 grill was generously donated to me, but it's an inch too wide as mine is a Credenza. I tore a hole cleaning my grill cloth and I'm sick about it. My wife is going to attempt to sew it onto a like backing. If she can't, I have a new old orthophonic grill cloth that's really nice (no, not the exact original one) that was sewn by an old lady especially for orthophonic machines. Anyone have an original cloth for sale?

My motorboard has a 50s/60s electric motor in it with an on/off switch where the speed contol was. It works great, super quiet, and I love it.....but, it's not original. Anyone have a motor board for it with everything on it, and with a nice set of springs? I plan on using my current setup, but it'd be nice to have an original one to have to go along with it.

I have an electric motor and motorboard. Did your Credenza originally have a spring motor?

Where are you located?

Finding the correct motor board can be tricky. Check & double check the dimensions of the board, where the mounting screw holes are located and whether the turntable is located in the center, or offset to the right. Also, if the board is for an electric motor or a wind-up motor.

It was the spring type. Someday it'd be nice to have the motor type.
