Many thanks for all the kind and informative responses to my question! Each of those are beautiful pieces.

Your feedback convinced me to pick this up today and I am excited about it! A Globe-Wernicke Art Mission record cabinet with the original record indexes. As G/W describes it in their 1922 catalog (screen clippings below) each section has the capacity "to hold ninety thick, or even one hundred eighty thin, records." Finally have a good home for my DDs! :D
