I checked with my bank, and my check for the 2020 show was promptly cashed after the 2019 show. Two calls there over the past two weeks have gone unanswered.

In this age of instant communication (one could even say too much communication) I find it inexcusable that emails and phone calls to the Donley’s remain unanswered.

It is my understanding that there will no longer be a Union show in 2021...perhaps I misunderstand. On two separate occasions I spoke with a nice lady there (Linda, I think) who said it was an issue to be addressed by Mike Donley. She took my name and number and left me with the impression that I would hear from him. There has been no response. You know, it's not a ton of money involved here, but it's kinda the principle of the matter at this point. Am I wrong?

You are correct. The Donleys have told the APS that there will NO LONGER be a UNION show. They are now graciously supporting the new APS Midwest Show.

Maybe I’m a wimp, but I don’t like to see people unhappy. I don’t have a direct stake hanging in the balance, but I’m concerned with worried dealers and I wouldn’t like to have people thinking bad about the Donleys after all this time.
Maybe Mr. Paul or the APS could help contact them to come up with some kind of arrangement to smooth over ruffled feathers.
I would hate to have a cloud hanging over the next show.

It seems to me that open forum discussions regarding contractual relationships between the Donley’s and vendors are inappropriate here.

It is up to those parties to reconcile.

It is unclear whether all who have commented on same have such.

I’m sorry I had to make a suggestion. Maybe someone can explain what’s acceptable or unacceptable before I attempt to post anything. It’s not my intention to create more drama. I was just hoping to have some air cleared out.
