O/T - How many "phono friends" do you have?

I've got several great phono friends on Facebook. And I've got one phono friend from the days before the internet ( Yes, Viginia, there was friendship before Facebook ) who continues to be one of my best and most valued friends in any category even though we rarely meet because of the distance factor.

I am 19 and I have about 100 78's with my collection growing almost monthly - other students think I'm rather strange in my tastes!
If I had more money I would go in to machine collecting

On Facebook? None, I don't do facebook. Just can't see wasting my time or the time of others posting what I had for dinner and how loud the last fart was.

full disclosure: I have a Facebook account (a the urging of a "friend") but I don't use it and don't have any intention of using it.

Not everyone posts constantly on FB, but sometimes it can be tedious, I'd agree...how loud the last fart was....LOL!!!

I use facebook rarely. So much dross. Prefer being on these boards daily!

ALL of my friends are gramophone and record collectors. All of them. And Duo Art and Ampico piano collectors! Lucky me. We have lots of great musical evenings.

I have 9 or 10 collectors in the area so the compitition is tuff.
