Victor III video

Post by antique1973 »

Just an update on the Victor III. The motor overhaul went smoothly today
and I re-felted with wool felt. Made a quick video...

It's always exciting to finish a project! Nice-sounding machine, and lot of sound effects going on with the march! Thanks for posting.

Thanks Bob, glad you liked it! The record is fun to listen too, its a bit
warped but it plays well.

'73 I think you did a great job on your Vic 3.Now, you will have to start collecting the others in the number series. Then variations, oak or mahogany, early and late,etc.......etc..........  . Yes, there really is NO end to this maddness .

Thanks G78! Well, I am always on the lookout for the good stuff so there is surely more
on the way. Now that I have the Edison cylinder and diamond disc players I wanted, its
time to focus on finding some more early Victors. I am still hoping for a Vic 6 fixer
someday. Wish me luck! :clover: :clover: :clover:
