Silvertone Phonograph

Post by VictorVV-X »

I think it’s been refinished, but do you think it’s worth $100? It is working. The carving is different.

Is it worth $100... :? Do you want an authentic phonograph?

If it works properly, what on earth (other than a Crap-O-Phone or a basket case) can you buy for $100? It's a nice looking machine that should be able to play any type of record. The only thing about the "carving" is that it is pressed sawdust or something similar, like the grill on an Edison H-19...
"The phonograph† is not of any commercial value."

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."

Curt A, thank you for the advice. Even if the finish isn’t original, I just like it. And I’ve been looking for another upright machine that can play vertical and lateral records. I’m going to take a look at it tomorrow. Hopefully, everything checks out.

Thanks again.
