Hello all,
I’ve had my Columbia 140 portable for a few years now, and I’ve decided to rebuild the reproducer. Before I take it apart, I wanted to ask if anyone knows if a Victrola mica diaphragm would work, or if a standard Columbia mica diaphragm would work? The gaskets would just be the white rubber tubing used in an exhibition reproducer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you call Ron Sitko and chat with him. He can advise you about the diaphragm and gasket material that would be appropriate and he should have those items for sale inexpensively. His contact info is in the Links section of the board.

I will give him a call, thank you. Does Ron accept PayPal, or Check only?
Thanks again.

Ron will have what you need and be able to advise you. He operates the old fashioned way; phone orders with payment by checks and I believe credit cards. I always send a check.
