Some Rüdesheim Pictures

Post by Valecnik »

Just got back from the phono show and sale at Rüdesheim. A few pictures are below. Not as big as Wayne or Union but as at those shows, a chance to look, pick up a few things and most importantly, talk with some people you wouldn't otherwise get a chance to see.

I bought three cylinders and a Victrola no. 4 Reproducer.

I attended Rüdesheim 15 years ago for the last time. Thank you for capturing the mood at the fair.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to see that Siegfried's place is still there. I went there about 30 years ago and was fascinated by his collection. I'm sure he's added to it since then. :D
Best regards ... AZ*

"Ultraphon reflects the tone and is also a waste"

Probably true. There was a machine of similar tone arm design at the Union show this year. Interesting, but most likely not worth the fuss. Nice conversation piece.
