Edison DD A150 TABLETOP on Craigslist in Brooklyn, NY

Post by ymg200 »

I haven't seen a tabletop DD before, so I assume that this machine could be interesting to a DD collector.

It's not a tabletop- legs are cut off and the grille is missing.

I found a similar picture of A150 with legs, but I thought that there might have been a tabletop version too. Thank you for the info. After all, there is a reason why I haven't seen a tabletop version before.

There were a couple actual tabletops:

Here's a B60. I especially like it because of the decal/stamp on the machine which identifies that it was purchased in Phila near where I grew up. In the unfortunately non-matching cabinet it came with were a number of Edison "Along Broadway" magazines with the dealership info stamped on the back.

The A/B/C-60, A/B-80, B-19, and L-35 were table top machines, but they all are large machines and weigh a ton. None of them is exactly common. The A-60 is the only one I would say is genuinely rare, although the L-35 is also quite hard to find in the USA as it was primarily intended for export.
