I have two of these "Repeat-O-Graph" repeaters, one nickel and one gold plated. Both of mine are a little different and have a hollow "sleeve" with a slot that fits over the grooved piece that fits on the spindle. The problem with most of these repeaters is the grooved post which is made of pot metal and swells inside of the sleeve, making the whole thing lock up.

The earliest ones had that post made of brass and they have no problems, but like other cost cutting measures, someone got the great idea to mold that post from pot metal. The only way that I was able to restore mine to working order was to remove the pot metal posts and re-make them out of solid nylon rods and then duplicate and cut the grooved pattern.

If the one mentioned that is stopping the turntable from spinning has a pot metal post, then most likely the pot metal has swollen and doesn't allow it to rotate freely... although it looks like the earlier model with a brass post. Maybe it just needs some lubrication to free it up and get it moving.

Thanks a lot for the photos and the video. I found the roller piece for the reproducer. The only part that I'm missing is the set screw for the adjustable stop on the right. I should be able to get a small screw at the hardware store.

The threaded part does spin by hand but it doesn't move when putting it on the spindle and the turn table turns but slows down. I'll tinker with it and will hopefully get it to work.

Wow! Finding the roller was a lucky break. Looks like after some cleaning and adjustment you'll be up and running. Now you've got to decide what record you want to hear over & over & over...

After tinkering with it for while last night, I got it to work again. I found a screw for the adjustable stop, cleaned it up a little bit, oiled it, and here's a short clip to see it in action...
