I don't think there was ever a debate about the Robertson screws, I was replacing them with original style slotted screws.
Sorry Vince, I thought there was initial questioning regarding the screw type used for the lid hinge. My bad.
I think a normal Victrola nickel hinge can be used if you are unable to locate the original.
Great to see two rare and uncommon machines. Thanks for sharing.

No worries Wayne, sorry if I came across a bit brash. Yes, I'm hoping to just post the length of the hinge in the Yankee trader section if u can't find the original.

Wes, I certainly know of my two machines plus one other in the collection of Domenic Dibernardo. The fourth in Ontario was in the hands of a collector in Ottawa who I met briefly at a Canadian Phonograph society meeting at least 5 years ago. I'm not sure if he still has his, it may have been the one I saw for sale on my local kijiji.

I also know of two that were in the hands of collectors on the west coast USA, but have no idea if these have since changed hands or could even be the same machine that just moved from one to the other.

Now this is cool! Something about that unique cabinet and straight up and down lines makes these things real interesting! Thanks for sharing!
