My serial number does have a "D" after it. I was able to get the turntable off and posted more photos. Would greatly appreciate your additional opinion. Thanks!

Definitely not a XVI motor. It is a two spring motor likely from a XI. You are lucky they didn't need to drill and additional hole for the crank.

Thanks again! I have always wondered if any motorboards and motors were interchangeable between different victrola models!

Check out the original brake and light. This is exactly how I got it and how it sits today.
That's a beautiful original example! Thanks for sharing your photos with me! Does yours have the lever brake? I think that is the setup that I will need to look for.

Thanks for the link, John!

That is very close to my machine, but it is a "C" and mine does have a "D" after the serial number. I think that the only difference is that mine would have the lever brake instead of the bullet brake which may be fortunate for me since the bullet brake ones are the hardest to find.

Does anyone know the going price for a motor, motorboard with hardware and turntable? I only have completed eBay prices to go by and I want to offer the parts at a more reasonable price. The motor that I would be offering has not been serviced. The parts are not museum quality, but they are good.

Thanks

Looks like the motor board has been replaced. Surprising the crank shaft lined up. Probably have all the parts you need to put it back correct.

Thank you for your response to my most recent Request. Yes, My machine had been re motored, But fortunately the Motorboard motor and crank fit my cabinet without alterations. Due to The generosity and valuable advice from several members of this forum, I have been able to secure most of the parts I need To return my Victrola XVI L-door Back to Original correct parts. The only part that I have not been able to find yet has been A female crank That Was made To fit The Suffix C & D Models . The last photographs that I Posted We're of the parts I have gotten For reference. If you have a correct gold crank or know of anybody who does For sale I'd appreciate you letting me know.
