RECORD CABINET HELP WITH MANUFACTURER

Post by tictalk »

I picked this up at the Stantons auction auction this month , it was with a large un catalogued room full of items that was sold after the online auction. Does anyone know the model # or have any literature suggesting what phonograph it was designed to match? As you can see in the photos there is a key with a yellow paper key tag with the cabinet, it reads Aunt Jennies record cabinet, I cant get in touch with aunt Jenny to see what machine she had on it.:-)

Its a Herzog 833. Here is a cut from the reprint of the Catalog that I have available along with over 150 other high-quality reprints.

Congratulations on one of the nicer cabinets out there... this one was refinished.. don't know if the gold at the top of the pillars is correct but that ribbon mahogany is beautiful..

That's an 823, straight sides. The original posting cabinet is much fancier with curved sides.
