Hi Everyone,
I have a basket case late model Victor II and the governor is missing.
Is the governor specific to the Victor II, or will a governor from an internal horn Victrola fit and do the job?
Thank you and best regards,
Oliver

Re: Victor II governor question
The gear that drives the governor as well and the spindle worm and the drive gear on the spring barrel are a more coarse pitch than the later, enclosed machines. Some of the early enclosed machines, such as an L-Door XVI have that gearing, but the more common machines did not.
