I have had this problem as well, and get a red lettered warning that my IP is blocked and a link to SPAMHAUS is provided. Spamhaus tells me my IP is blocked due to a device using the IP is sending spam. As of a few days ago, it seems to have cleared up, and I am no longer blocked. This is the only application on which I was experiencing this issue. Maybe the recent upgrade to TMF fixed it? :clover:

Sorry, but i think that's wishful thinking. The upgrade here certainly hadn't fixed it for me. Thats the exact problem I have and still get more often than not. I've tried to contact David to get it resolved but he's ignored the messages which is not helpful.

The way around it is to convince this board you're using a different ISP by utilising a VPN. Every post I've made here since about a year ago has only been possible because I'm varying my "location" and in effect, my ISP. However, like this forum, the VPN is the only software I encounter issues with so the two problems go hand in hand. Tunnelbear only works sporadically for me and then hangs. One possible solution is to pay to use a licensed VPN like Norton which I refuse to do as this site is the only problem I encounter.

The only real solution for me (if it doesn't get resolved) is to start a UK forum myself on another platform. I haven't got the time to do it entirely on my own so if anyone reading this is interested in becoming a moderator please send me a personal message or email me. We've done it before and we can do it again, especially now the principle trouble maker has left our midst.

I contacted David. I got a very prompt and polite reply. He said he shut off whatever the "thing" was that caused this to happen. Are any of you still having that issue?

I think you were lucky. I tried several times over the past few months and even Graham contacted David on my behalf and neither of us received the courtesy of a reply.

Anyway, moving on........I'm currently not using a VPN to post here and now so that's a positive as far as I'm concerned. I'll let you know but thank you for keeping those of us who are experiencing the same problems in the loop. I sincerely appreciate that.

JerryVan - I have not had this problem in several weeks now. Hopefully the "fix" has cured it.
Thanks!
