Pre-Dog Victor P Questions.

Post by colmike1 »

I just picked up a Pre-Dog Victor P and was wondering what is the correct reproducer for it, a concert or exhibition? Also, was the record hold down nickel or oxidized copper like the rest of the metal?

I believe the Concert would be the correct reproducer and if the support arm and motor bed plate are copper oxidized, then the record hold down screw should be copper oxidized as well. Have fun, they are nice machines.

Thanks for the info. The record hold down is going to be a challenge!

eBay seller ladanjus used to sell both nickeled and copper oxidized record hold downs. I purchased one for my Victor R from him several years ago.

Good luck!

I have contacted him about a reproducer. I will ask Justin about the hold down as well. Thanks!
