Columbia Cylinder Cabinet

Post by ColoradoPhonograf »

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would share a photo of a cylinder cabinet I purchased last week. It holds 24 cylinders per drawer on wood pegs. This cabinet still has all the original pegs and even has the original finish. It doesn't have vacuum cleaner scars on the feet either. I think it was tucked away safely most of it's life somewhere. I plan to put a Columbia cylinder machine on it. It was fun to finally be able to add something to the collection after staying isolated for a year during this pandemic.

Happy Collecting,
D.Edwards

Beautiful cabinet! Congratulations. After we get back to something close to normal, I’d love to see it first hand!

Super Nice! Hard to find-- especially in such nice shape.

I've got a #1 cabinet, but am missing the correct wooden pegs.

Thanks for sharing-- very impressed.

A similar cabinet though setup for Concert cylinders (with Edison Concert on top). Also excellent original condition. Your cabinet is stunning Darold!
