I am too far away from my Fabrizio-Paul Compendium, but if I recall correctly during the Lippincott North American Phonograph Company era, the American Graphophone Company did use decals that read "The Phonograph-Graphophone" for a brief period. Unlike this example, however, they did not use the name "Edison"!

this has been taken from a 1898 Edisonia (UK) catalog of Columbia and Edison machines... that caption took my attention! :D
