Re: Credenza question
I wouldn't use Murphy's. I'd go with the non-pumice variety of the hand cleaner GOOP, as many others have done. However, this is my favorite choice! https://www.hfstaples.com/shop/wood-cleaner/

Re: Credenza question
Would it be possible to repair the broken tone arm bracket with some JB Weld? If you have all the pieces, it might at least be worth a try.stetam wrote: Sat Mar 20, 2021 6:43 pm Picked up my 8-30x today and I am very pleased for the $265 I paid. Works and plays beautifully, minor scratches on the finish and the grill cloth is perfect. However..... the tone arm mount is broken. I wired it together until I can get a replacement. Do I need a Credenza specific mount or is there another that's compatible?

Re: Credenza question
Meant to say GOJO, but GOOP is about the same thing I suppose, so long as it has no pumice in it.JerryVan wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 8:17 am I wouldn't use Murphy's. Never gave that a thought but yes I have used JB weld many times and that just might work. Same me some serious $ too.Frisco The Beagle wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 1:54 pmWould it be possible to repair the broken tone arm bracket with some JB Weld? Re: Credenza question
About an hour ago I applied Gojo to the one side, let it sit for five minutes and wiped it off. I believe a coat of wax is all I need now and it will be good to go. Thanks everyone.
