Gratifying to see this piece transformed from non-descript to glorious. As should be the case with a good restoration, you can really appreciate the original details of the wood and realize the intent of the maker... On behalf of current and future collectors: "Thanks!"

Fantastic job, very well done. I know how much work and time goes into a restore like that. I restored a walnut 17 with lots of damage and was my hardest project to date but turned out the best. I cant believe what the previous owner did to that machine, chopping the legs down etc. Glad to see its back to its original glory and then some.
