I own three versions, and none is by Geraldo. One is by Victor Sylvester, another one by New Mayfair (as Ronnie Munro) from 1938, and a slightly later by a Spanish dance orchestra, Tejada.

It's a catchy dance tune!Inigo wrote: Wed Mar 31, 2021 10:11 am I own three versions, and none is by Geraldo. One is by Victor Sylvester, another one by New Mayfair (as Ronnie Munro) from 1938, and a slightly later by a Spanish dance orchestra, Tejada.

Yes, it is indeed! Repetitive, but you never get tired of it! Despite the record repeats the theme at least 5 or 6 times, I always play it twice!

I have at least two, one by Ambrose an his orchestra (Decca) and one by Maxwell Stewart's Ballroom Melody (Rex).
I have barely started to sort through my records and enter them on a spreadsheet though so when I restart the process I will let you know if I have the one you are after. This may be a few months from now though.

Any chance that you or anyone might have "Nashville Nightingale" by the Piccadilly Revels Band?
