Assistance with Date of My 102 HMV

Hey all, can anyone provide a date of production for my newly restored HMV 102? See photos! Thank you!!

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

The number under the B indicates the number of years since the B plate was introduced in 1936. Yours is B/18, which means it was produced in 1954. That would make sense, because sometime in the late 1940s or early 1950s the construction was modified slightly; the motorboard was originally wood and recessed into the lower part of the case, but the very late production examples have the motorboard flush with the top of the lower part of the case, and covered with the same Rexine as the rest of the machine.
