Neat Lid Label in Edison Standard C
My Edison Standard Model C has this neat lid label. I've never seen this on another machine, but I've never had another Standard C either. It claims that the lack of an end gate is better for the record, but it makes no mention of the New York lawsuit that led to this machine being manufactured. (Nor does it mention the birth of the nightmarish pot metal mandrel bearing, which I assume started with the Model C.)

Thanks for sharing that one. I have seen a lot in 57 years of collecting but never this.
