That machine is pretty neat. It is a real interesting piece of "Make Do. Renew". The work must have been done a lot of years ago. It's very unusual and cool looking.

Has anyone seen a talking machine like this? It's a clam shell type talking machine. The decal on the inside indicates is an Adora brand. Any comments? Thanks, Jerry

I have to admit, my first thought was that it looked like a rather clever marriage of cannibalized parts, (lids, grille, etc.), but I didn't want to voice that... because, let's face it, there is SOOO much I do not know about talking machines.

However, now that the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, I will say that it is one of the best looking frankenphones I have seen!

The Vitanola decal is upside down. My heart sank when I saw that. I'm just going to get rid of it. It's at the local antique shop and I should net $100. Anyone want it?
