Hijacked link?

Post by Covah »

Friends, when I go to the usual http://www.victor-victrola.com/ I get advertising trash. Looks like someone swiped the domain.

Hijacked? doubt it, probably the owner didn't renew the subscription for the domain. happens all the time to websites.

Right. The domain name expired and someone bought it up right away. Now Paul Edie will have to buy another name. And until then, bye bye.

Actually the domain registrar sends emails reminding the owner to renew.

I think it was Paul Edie?? who ran the site.
Wow! I hope it's not gone for good. That would be a real shame.

Yea, I think it was Paul. I sold an Oak VV-X table top to him a few months back and talked with him about his website. Hope it comes back.

Here is an archive.org link to victor-victrola.com. Until Paul can get the site back up, I guess it's better than nothing.
