Edison "B" series: was it advertised??
in talking machine forum magazines, it seems to skip right from ads for the A series thru 14.......to the famous "C" series starting in 15........but i cant seen to find any specific mention of "B" series...........trying to pin down the exact ad or release date for my B200- what other magazines should i be looking at? thanks

Re: Edison "B" series: was it advertised??
The B machines first appeared in 1914 with the B-60 and the B-80, but they had no connection with the B floor models that came next. Then in 1915 the floor model B machines appeared, which were totally different from the belt drive B-80s. The B machines lasted less than a year before the C models came in. The C machines lasted from 1916 to 1926! That is probably why you rarely see a B machine today, and why you don't see much advertising for them.
