Re: Gramophone shop in Ludlow.
I see. Google said that Butter Cross is St. Laurence's, and after touching and visiting Butter Cross, then the St Laurence's church indicator has disappeared! It's madness! In the googlestreet, when you walk near BC then the church tower can be seen. If you go back to numbers 16 broad street, then the tower appears behind the houses.

First very interesting commentary starting at 8.37. The word genius is very much over-used but is completely applicable to these two. Incredible arrangements and superb photography.

Maybe a pre-War Yellow Pages will yield the firm's name?
Last time I visited the Pub a few doors up I remember it had a plaque on it saying something like: "This ancient pub is unique in all of England as it is the only one where Dick Turpin did NOT demand a drink, and Queen Elizabeth 1st did NOT stay overnight..."!

By the way, thanks Graham for that marvelous and interesting concert.
I love the music of Widor. I love Bach, and César Franck and all these post-romantic organ players and musicians.

Good morning Inigo and many thanks for the comment. The performances and videos by Jonathan and Tom Scott are sensational and worth investigating on YouTube. Nothing is without its blessings and Covid has meant these two have been posting wonderful creations regularly during the past year.
