Horn Case?

Post by Ole Canal Antiques »

Ok guys, i know your going to think im crazy but about 6 months ago i bought two Embrolas and with the one lot came a box of reproducers and what looks like a Horn case. Morning Glory style. It's made of an old Canvas like material and we have a horn that fits in there like a glove!! We have a few buddys who also collect old phono's. We asked them about it and they said they have never seen one, has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

I will get some pictures tomorrow when i get to the store..

Yes, there were bags for horns as well as wooden cases for them. They don't turn up too often, but they're around.

Thanks George, that's good to know. We had one guy tell us that it wasn't a horn case and that they never made them..
