HELp1 QUERY, WURLITZER 1015

What is purpose of adjustment screw protruding from plastic rectangular cover on the large selector plate in the front of my Wurlitzer 1015 mechanism? Thank you.

If memory serves, it controls the motor cutoff if there are no further record selection solenoids engaged. The screw controls the position of a plate which controls the microswitch on the front of the selector mechanism.
