Fidelitone Display??

Post by Ole Canal Antiques »

I just had to have it!! I didn't realize when you open the back drawers that it has a little divider in each drawer making two little cubbys, i just now found out it had contents while taking the pictures tonight.. Any ideas on the age of this thing?

It looks early to mid 1940s to me, but that's purely a guess. I've got one of those Fidelitone dusters, but I've never been able to confirm a date for it. I had my suspictions it was 40s though, due to the early plastic body of the duster & the multiplay needle.
I dont think Permo Inc, Chicago appears on the dusters either, so that gives me a lead to follow up on :)

I totally agree - mid 40's. It's a great display.

You have a really nice item. I concur it's from the '40's. The condition is excellent.
