It’s been a long 2 years or so, 2 hurricanes…me, the wife, and 2 kids living in a camper for 7 months in the driveway while our home was repaired….then a freeze and flood! With all that being said, my collection survived without any issues except a couple cylinders. This has made me reflect on my collection and the size and I have already lost some very nice concert cylinders due to mold or cracks from the storm…so I’ve decided to part with my concert machine and the rest of the cylinders, I have had immense joy from it, and I’m hoping someone out of a disaster prone area can enjoy and take care of it as I have. I just don’t want something to happen to it as I have some good memories tied to it from a good friend and his generosity.
I’ll be posting more pictures after while when I’m able to get everything set up, and particular pictures can be sent on request.
If just the machine is desired, it comes with an original seamless brass horn, a Model C converted to play like a D and plays 2 minute cylinders very well, the small mandrel (currently looking for it in the boxes), the small conversion carriage with original shaver and original cutting knife, the concert mandrel and concert carriage again with the cutting knife and blade intact, original crank, original Automatic Reproducer and Recorder all rebuilt with glass diaphragms and new needle/cutting stylus, and all extra parts to change from concert to standard cylinders. I rather not ship, so if you’re coming through Louisiana or Texas I’d be more than happy to meet with you or someone you send or know.

Original floor crane for horn (folds up)
Various Edison, Columbia, French, blanks, and reproduction 5” cylinders. Some mint condition to excellent and some poor/moldy/cracked cylinders (very sad cause some of the ones that cracked from temperature change were mint
)Maybe something else as I go thru things.
