FOR SALE. Columbia cylinder machines NEW PRICES

Post by Victrola20 »

I have been asked by an elderly friend to sell her husbands small collection of cylinder phonographs She of course thought they were worth a lot of money but I convinced her that we needed to price them to sell and that the market had changed drastically since her husband priced them I am getting nothing for selling them I have already sold a couple but have the following left They are not high end machines, there are no horns except for the BVT some have reproducers and cranks others don’t
The appearance of all of them is good and plating and motors all seem good and complete. No wood damage I believe that the finish has been touched up on some but none are refinished except the empty BF case
I have been unable to up load pictures so you will have to email me if you want pictures
The list follows :
1) SOLD Col AG no belt no crank and carriage is frozen
Case and bed plate and motor are nice. $450
2) SOLD Col AO fancy case complete nice $650
3) High trunion AT complete $375 new price 325
4) BF case refinished light oak no wood damage $165 new price $150
5) Col B lid nice decal $65 néw price $50”
6) BVT. Original horn repaintedm no
7) several Q’s no wood base or lids no reproducers one one has its keg but otherwise they seem to be in good condition $135 each new price 125
8) Col. BG mahogany long mandrel $800 new price $750
If I figure out how to upload pictures I will do so
Prices are plus shipping. If you commit to buy by Tuesday night there is a chance that I could get them delivered to the Cal show this week end.
Or if you commit to buy before Wednesday night I can deliver to you at Stanton’s for free.
Any questions please call me at 5309452221 or email at [email protected].
Sorry about no pictures but if I can’t figure out how to upload them please email me and I will send them to you.
thanks
Brice

You even don't need the last step (place inline) unless you want the images inserted at certain places in the text. If you simply want images at the end of your post, you simply click on add files, and no more. The text you add in file comments will appear as headings on the images.

Hi Brice,

I sent you an email to your personal address. Have interest in the AG and a couple of others. Will try to talk to you in the morning (Tuesday morning).

Brice,

I'm always looking for serial numbers to add to the Columbia Grand database I've been compiling, can you tell be what is the number on this one?

Also can you tell if the bedplate is nickel plated brass or unpainted aluminum? I can almost see the serial number as 36xx and if so it is right in the transition
range between brass and aluminum bedplates.

Thanks

Chuck
