Yes, the lifebelt on the Celebro has exactly the same markings as the Orchorsol, including the Orchorsol name.

Of course, the sound box itself (without the Lifebelt) is essentially a Precision Engineering Ltd. 'Master', a design going back to the last days of Nicole Frères in 1906. The diaphragm and the body shell changed, but the essential feature, the stylus-bar suspension with two ball bearings and ling torsion springs, remained the same.

A couple of pictures of my cabinet Orchorsol and the bottom of the horn which is quite a complex item similar to an HMV.
if anyone has any info I would appreciate it?

Found a Celebro portable the other week and bought it, having read about them here! It looks to be much the same as the other portable already shown. Far too much money ;) and I don't buy portables as a rule - but then I thought - when would I ever see another one?

I've made a video showing it in more detail, inside and out and also playing a record.

It has the matching Celebro soundbox - but I think it lost its springs at some point in the past :(

Here is the link to my Orchorsol portable, which was described in my article for the Winter 2020 CLPGS magazine.

Great video and extremely interesting information indeed.

This link shows my Celebro soundbox, complete with springs etc:

I don't have a Celebro portable but as you say they look pretty much the same as Orchorsols - and I play my Celebro soundbox on one of those.
