Ohio show - any pictures, comments, etc.?

I did not get to the Ohio show this past weekend, so I'm curious - how was it? Was it well attended? Was there anything unusual or interesting? Can anyone post pictures?

Talked to Don Gfell, Gregg Cline, and Shawn O'Rourke. You can tell Don's booth from the pics with the horns he made. Gregg had a really nice Hardy Tinfoil replica.

Well as a relatively new guy to collecting antique phonographs I only have about 14 or 15 in my collection I
attended the Ohio show put on by Lynn Bilton at the Holiday Inn in Akron Ohio on Sunday the 29th. Although
there were not as many venders as I thought their would be I really enjoyed myself. This was the first Phonograph
show and sale that I have ever been to, Lots of interesting machines and collectors. I got to meet Shawn O'Rourke,
Greg Cline, Don Gfell and of course Lynn Bilton and it was a pleasure meeting them all. Lynn had a very curious
machine he was selling and at first I thought it was a Columbia but in actuality was an Atlantis Taking Machine made
in NYC in the early 1900's, I liked it so much I ended up buying it from him. It was in very original as found condition
and Lynn tried playing it, but the motor needed some help to get going so I could not hear it play. He told me in all
the years he's been collecting and selling it was only the second one he had ever seen, which intrigued me. So since it's
now mine I have tried researching it and the company and have found nothing. If anyone has any info on the company
or the machine please let me know, Lynn thinks it kind of like the standard model A machines as to how they were
sold (i.e. scheme machines). I'm attaching some pics of the show and the machine I bought after I cleaned it up and
got it running, it actually sounds pretty good.

Thanks George for that information, I tried all 3 of my web browsers and
none of them would load the APS web page, so I could not renew my
membership. There must be something wrong somewhere. Oh well I'll
just have to keep trying.

Gene, the server used by the APS was hacked by malware, so a new server is being set up for the website. The APS Forum is back up, but loading times are rather slow. All this should be fixed this week.
