Bidding Frenzy on a Vic III

561.01 was the winning bid, there is a complete one on eBay right now where the starting bid is 995.00$ and no one is bidding. (so far with 2 days left at this posting date)
It's complete with no damage to the cabinet, it's motor is there and everything else.

If the Butchered one had the elbow, I maybe could see that price, but there are no elbows around, just those crumby cast ones.
I can only think that whom ever won, had the bits to complete it, it still's going to take some serious skill to repair the cabinet.

I was going to buy it for the back bracket and tone arm, but when it was approaching the 400.00$ I let it go, the tonearm also had the dents from hitting the back bracket.
The top was also full of other holes from the different motor.

I looked at it for about 10 seconds. I think I remember the case was cut into. New holes drilled to put that motor on. I see very little value other than a couple hundred bucks if someone need a part
