‘The Social Dilemma’ is a much watch for everyone. It is truly eye opening how much influence social media has in tracking and manipulating everyday Americans. I dropped most of my social media - Facebook, Instagram , etc after watching that documentary a year or so ago. I also use DuckDuckGo as my search engine instead of google since they do not track you like google.

So I actually bought this stuff, and already it's a different container and name- what I got is called "Wood Finish Restorer" Made in China, and looks like Scott's Liquid Gold, only thinner. It looks nothing like what they advertise and it isn't even called "RestoFinish".

Here's what they show you:

They also advertise that it's "odorless and non- toxic", but there's a warning on the label to avoid breathing the vapors and to avoid contact with skin.
I think I'm going to do a chargeback. This is a blatant scam.

That label is just generic print that goes on every bottle of anything that contains petroleum distillates and or anything that contains wood alcohol.
The stuff has to have ingredients like that for it to work, or do anything for that matter.

But with that said, it certainly is not non-toxic, although those ingredients like paint thinner, or Varsol and methyl hydrate are not going to eat your skin off, one could still have an allergic reaction to it.
There is a nasty one out there called xylene, once used commonly in Jiffy Markers and other commercial products.
I can still find the stuff, from the Cloverdale Paint store here in Canada, marked as "Clova Thinner", but that was a very long time ago, so it may be discontinued by now.

I may get curios enough and purchase some, having worked with stuff like this more then 20 years, if I could get small whiff of it, I could probably ID what's in it.
