Oddball Portable on CL

This is an odd looking portable gramophone. It is not particularly elegant in any way. With the plastic hand and the general ugliness of construction in must be a very late inexpensive model - 40s or 50s?

I am posting it here for general interest purposes. No association with the seller.

The goal would be to know if the horn goes all around the case or if it is a short one, direct from the tonearm to the mouth. In the first case, although cheap, it would sound fairly good... Nevertheless, the small horn mouth could mean a short horn...
