I'm delighted that a phonograph collector won the auction and not an advertising collector. It's a rare piece of history that needs to be appreciated by folks who know what they are looking at. It's a treasure. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Fantastic sign! Wow-- Glad you were able to put in a deserved place of honor Michael-

and Curt-- Glad to see you weren't on that ladder. Seems to me, I recall that you and ladders have a history :)

Looks great!!

A Lioret weight-driven tinfoil machine? Wow! Those can't be very common.

Thank you all for the kind words. I thought I would add a photo showing it lit up. It is really quite a spectacular sign.

Beautiful, Mike. What a great statement, and secondary light source.

Mike, it was a pleasure meeting you in person at the auction. That sign and the location go perfectly together! What a spot! I might have bid on it back in Nov. but I knew it would not fit within my basements 7.5" ceiling where my collection lives  .

Well done.

Apparently I was competing against a sign collector for it.

Mike

What a fantastic sign. Looks great in its new home. A rare sign that will remain preserved for many more years to come.

It was nice meeting you at the Hazelcorn auction.
