I don’t know if it is really overpriced. I tend to think that machines are undervalued. It looks like a nice example.

From looking around online, these go for $500. This machine has quite a few scratches near the door, and while being nice and early still doesn't have the Laboratory model horn.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: what you might pay for something bears very little relation to “value”, whatever that is. All collectors create their own value by wanting something they have absolutely no need for, other than what their mind perceives. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but criticizing the seller for being “overpriced” is wrong, he’s not looking for you, he’s looking for the guy that “needs” it!

Price has now dropped to $500 if anybody is interested. I'm assuming whoever was bidding against them originally might be interested at that price. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/ ... 00141.html

I get the feeling they saw my post...
$500 for two months now and still hasn't sold and hasn't been marked down. I'd jump for it if it were around $200.

I guess the answer to, "Is it overpriced?" has been answered.
