Help needed with Decca autobrake

Post by Gramtastic »

Anyone had experience of a Decca autobrake ? This fiendishly complex one is on a Decca 150. It appears there should be a spring attached to the post on the brake itself but can't see where it goes. A photo of one that works would be very useful if you can help ?
Thanks

In this old thread about Decca Salon 130 there are two detailed pictures of the autobrakes featured on user 52089's unit and on my unit. Both are different from yours but they may help you understand. The first by 52089 looks more similar to yours than mine.
